Strange to see Llorente considering how well Rossi and Nilmar combined last week. Maybe he’s going for a more direct approach against a tough Osasuna side
Osasuna probably isn’t happy to see Perez Burrull as the referee. to be honest, I’m not thrilled, either.
12′ Great cross there from Angel :/
15′ Capdevila completely asleep and lets Juanfran in to score the opener.
0-1: Juanfran gets into the box unmarked and scored. Capdevila didn’t pick him up.
Have to say that Pires wasn’t exactly covering him either!
That’s true, Nick. I don’t think Diego knew he was there, either.
wow. Fabulous fingertip save by Diego!
Unbelievable save from Lopez!! Again from Pires not tracking back
Villarreal are making a 1-1 result look like absolute gold.
The fans are letting them hear it today. The whistles ring out with the long balls that go straight to the keeper.
Osasuna is reminding me exactly why I dislike them so much. Twice now players of theirs have gone down faking injuries, but make a miraculous recovery when they get to the sideline.
Need Rossi and Ibagaza on pronto! No creativity there at all. Wouldn’t mind seeing Escudero either. Very poor first half.
Fortunate that it is only 1-0 as Osasuna have consistently found space behind our back line. Very little threat to the Osasuna goal. Hope that Osasuna tire in the second half or perhaps Perez Burrell will give us a penalty.
Well I got 2 out of 3. Escudero for Pires and Ibagaza for Senna.
Damn gutsy sub there. Rossi in, Angel out. 65th minute, no subs left.
Gut-check time. 75th minute and Osasuna looks more likely to score a second than we do an equalizer, even with a very offensive gamble on the pitch.
0-2 goal Juanfran and that should do it.
Time to send Valverdeer in own DOGHOUSE. That is if teh Villarreal owners have any GUTS or Value their investment.
This Long Ball/Highball no Possesion IS UGLY and results suck too…
Valverdeer is STUPID….
Starters should have been Rossi/Llorente or Rossi/Nilmar …
HE”S A MORON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fans waving the white hankies and jeering. Poor poor game from us today.
Villarreal made to look very poor against an ordinary Osasuna side. Once again Valverde’s substitutions had no effect. The fans have been very patient so far but the cracks were starting to show today.
Puting the ball up the filed all the time is not what is working, but the Midfield and Lopez kept doing………………
why? because that is what the IDIOT Valverdeer wants the players to do…
I did’t think Senna was having a bad game, so why sub him?
OH WELL Villarreal SUCK U/Valverdeer…………..
Sorry been telling ya’all . that this team is not going anywhere u/Valverdeer,
Probably our worst performance of the season. No spark at all, apart from Nilmar who tried hard. The rest just luck really short of ideas. This time last year we had too many attacking midfielders to choose from, now none of them are performing. Still, we have the Europa League to win in a few weeks! :D
Senna has a cracked rib from our last game and considering the way Osasuna was hacking at him, I can understand the sub. But our midfield completely fell apart without him.
A very poor performance today. Valverde gambled, rolled the dice, and came up short.
Comeback kqql, Valverde has gone.

valverde is outtttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
**** u valverde u ugly snorty pig.
Well well, they moved fast on that one! I can’t really argue based on todays performance, players showed absolutely nothing! Now whose gonna come in? If we have 7 million euro we could get Hiddink…! Ramos is available too!
For now, Garrido will be coaching the first team. MARCA theorizes we might go for Laudrup (oh, hell NO), or Juande Ramos (equally unsuccessful since he left Sevilla), Hiddink will be too expensive and I don’t know if he’d be interested in a smaller club. Other than those, the only coaches available I can think of are Hugo Sanchez, Luis Aragones, and Bernd Schuster unless we prefer to use someone from outside the league.
Of course, it’s possible that there is someone else that I’m not thinking of.
Garrido has done a fantastic, a really amazing job with the B team. I’d be quite happy if we gave him a chance until the end of the season. The B team should be ok, they only need a few more wins and I can’t see them going into freefall. I’m intrigued to see what Garrido can do. I mean that’s where Guardiola came from! He’s done alright for himself!
There’s Bernd Schuster either, but he’s a bit of a nutcase.
